Microsoft is continually enhancing Dynamics 365 Business Central, which securely exposes its data and business logic to Copilot Studio using dedicated connectors and the Business Central MCP server. This enables the creation, customization and deployment of personalized AI agents.

Copilot Studio enables the creation of agents that can:

• Answer questions about BC data
• Trigger workflows
• Execute business logic
• Interact with records (customers, items, orders, etc.)
• Follow multi‑step instructions

These agents rely on tables, fields, relationships and business rules within BC to function. Copilot Studio does not require programming, but developers are be able to extend agents using AL code to make them even more powerful.

These agents are not only deployable in Business Central, but also in Teams, Outlook and most likely elsewhere over time.

Even though Business Central already includes multiple Copilot features, it has now become possible to customize our own and adapt them to specific scenarios.

We, at Vokeso, will be looking into this new promising tool with tremendous interest to further enhance our ability to serve our customers.
