Ma r\u00e9ponse est toujours\u00a0: \u2018Oui\u2026 mais non.\u2019<\/p>\n

Je constate qu\u2019il y\u2019a beaucoup de confusion en ce qui a trait au portefeuille de solutions d\u2019affaires de Microsoft.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

R\u00e9pondre \u00e0 un interlocuteur qu\u2019on fait du Dynamics 365 c\u2019est comme dire qu\u2019on conduit un v\u00e9hicule Ford. Grosse diff\u00e9rence entre un F-150 et un Mustang!<\/p>\n

Personnellement, je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re le Mustang.<\/p>\n

Vous aurez compris que Dynamics 365 est en fait une marque repr\u00e9sentant un portefeuille de solutions pour les entreprises. On y retrouve les progiciels int\u00e9gr\u00e9s de gestion (ERP)\u00a0: Finance & Operations (F&O), Business Central (autrefois NAV), Great Plains (GP) et SL (Solomon). Ce dernier \u00e9tant maintenant plus un vestige du temps qui passe. Dans ce portefeuille de solutions nous retrouvons aussi Customer Engagement, qui est le CRM de Microsoft.<\/p>\n

Afin de mieux vous situer, voici un peu plus d\u2019information sur ses plateformes.<\/p>\n

Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance & Operations<\/b> est un progiciel de gestion nuagique de premi\u00e8re strate, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire une solution s\u2019adressant \u00e0 la plus grande entreprise. Elle comprend diff\u00e9rents modules qui peuvent \u00eatre souscris s\u00e9par\u00e9ment dont Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain Management et Human Resources. Cette solution est le ERP le plus dispendieux \u00e0 souscrire et implanter chez Microsoft.<\/p>\n

Dynamics 365 Business Central<\/b> est une solution nuagique de deuxi\u00e8me strate, aussi disponible en local, qui s\u2019adresse principalement aux petites et moyennes entreprises. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une plateforme robuste et fonctionnellement profonde mais par autant que F&O et donc moins dispendieuse que cette derni\u00e8re. Business Central est offerte en deux d\u00e9clinaisons: la version Premium qui inclus tous les modules et la version Essentials qui exclue le manufacturier et la gestion des services.<\/p>\n

Dynamics 365 GP<\/b> est aussi une solution qui s\u2019adresse aux PMEs mais elle n\u2019est disponible sur le cloud que par un d\u00e9ploiement Azure. Il s\u2019agit donc d\u2019un d\u00e9ploiement hybride. Microsoft vient d\u2019annoncer la fin du soutien pour GP d\u00e8s le 30 septembre 2029. C\u2019est encore loin, mais \u00e7a va venir vite. Les clients GP peuvent envisager une migration vers Business Central et c\u2019est ce que Microsoft recommande.<\/p>\n

Microsoft Dynamics SL<\/b>, autrefois Solomon<\/b>, est aussi un progiciel de gestion s\u2019adressant aux PMEs avec un focus sur les finances et la gestion de projets. Le soutien de cette solution a \u00e9t\u00e9 interrompu en septembre 2021 et il n\u2019est plus possible d\u2019acheter de licences \u00e0 moins d\u2019\u00eatre d\u00e9j\u00e0 client. Les clients peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019un soutien \u00e9tendu jusqu\u2019en juillet 2028.<\/p>\n

Personnellement, je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re Business Central.<\/p>\n

En terminant, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement<\/b> comprend les modules Sales permettant de g\u00e9rer le cycle de ventes, Customer Service pour soutenir le service apr\u00e8s-vente, Marketing pour\u2026 le marketing, Field Service qui permet les interventions de techniciens en client\u00e8le et Project Service Automation.<\/p>\n

Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que la derni\u00e8re version de Business Central inclue maintenant des int\u00e9grations entre son module de gestion des services et Field Service.<\/p>\n

M\u00eame si Business Central inclus un module CRM, Customer Engagement demeure le vaisseau amiral des solutions CRM de Microsoft.<\/p>\n
